Romans 1-8: Starting April 21

Do you want to know for sure that you are going to Heaven when you die?

Do you desire a purpose and power in life bigger than you?

Do you want a genuine relationship with God and not just a religion or ritual?

Then you need to better understand God’s grace. And there’s hardly a better book in the Bible to get a firm grip on the grace of God than the book of Romans. So plan to join us every Sunday night  as we study verse-by-verse through Romans chapter 1-8.

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little. Isaiah 28:10

The Prophet Isaiah reminds us that in learning the Word of God, you start with a foundation of truth and build upon it: precept (or command) upon precept; line upon line. This is exactly the approach the Apostle Paul took in writing the book of Romans. He starts with a foundation of truth and builds upon it brick by brick until he has constructed a whole house of truth.

In Romans, we will study the fundamental doctrines of the Bible, doctrines in which every believer needs to be firmly grounded. Within the 36 verse-by-verse lessons in Romans 1-8, you will learn about...

  • Man’s sin and God’s condemnation.
  • Christ’s death and God’s justification by faith
  • The believer’s eternal security in Christ.
  • The believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
  • How you are not under the law, but under grace, as a rule of life for the Christian walk.
  • How the Holy Spirit is the power that gives every believer spiritual victory as he depends upon Christ in his Christian life and ministry.
