This ministry is designed to help meet the spiritual needs of our college-age and up believers. This can be a very challenging time in life therefore spiritual encouragement is a great priority. This ministry seeks to provide fellowship opportunities, equip and ground believers through teaching the word of God, and to evangelize area campuses.
We have many students attending each of the four local colleges plus many more that are not attending school but are college age and beyond. We meet in a home every weekend (during the school months) where we visit, sing, pray, have a Bible Study, and enjoy good food. College and up believers within our church attend these weekend gatherings to have fun, to help foster friendships, and to enjoy fellowship with one another.
We also host two three-day retreats which include eight teaching sessions along with good fellowship, food and fun all in a relaxed environment. The Winter Retreat (February) is held at Storybook Lodge in Biwabik and the Fall Retreat (September) is held at Camp Arrowhead in Deerwood MN. These retreats are well attended and attract believers from DBC and our sister churches.
