Missions

We believe that it is the privileged responsibility of the saved to witness by life and by word to the truths of Holy Scripture and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all mankind (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 1:14-16; 2 Corinthians 5:19, 20), and that local churches have the central and primary role in missions.   We believe that parachurch organizations have a  secondary role in fulfilling the Great Commission and should be of service to local churches and their mission (Acts 14:26-28; 1 Timothy 3:15; Hebrews 13:7, 17). In order to fulfill the Great Commission we have sent out teachers and evangelists to the following areas:

EL SALVADOR
We have had an active ministry in El Salvador since the year 2000. From 2000 to 2005, we largely conducted Bible conferences in various local churches in Eastern El Salvador. Many were saved; others were assured of their eternal salvation; still others were established in sound grace doctrine. From 2005 – 2010, our concentration of ministry was centered in equipping pastors and teachers through the establishment of a Grace Institute. Through this means, 75 or so students were impacted through clear and systematic teaching of the word of God, with 38 of them graduating in 2010. At that point we largely turned over the Grace Institute ministry to various local churches that have hosted their own Bible institutes to teach and train saved men and women in sound doctrine so as to pass the baton of God’s truth to other locations in the next generation (2 Tim. 2:2). Almost 100 students have now graduated from various Grace Institutes, completing 30 some Bible courses. PTL! Only the Lord knows what has been accomplished the lives of individuals, marriages and families, churches, etc. local churches.

NICARAGUA
By the grace of God there is now a growing understanding of grace among the 80 or so students who are attending the 3 different Grace Bible Institutes that have developed in Managua, Ometepe, and Nueva Guinea. Most are pastors or church leaders of some kind from various church groups that have had limited formal training and have been weighed down with doctrinal error or fuzziness on many things but they are enthusiastically receiving our teaching and then teaching it in their local churches. This is 2 Timothy 2:2 in action.
