Ben Everson is a singer, instrumentalist and songwriter from Midland, Michigan. His clear, melodic voice is his defining characteristic, as is the smooth blend of his one-man a cappella works. Ben plays multiple instruments, including piano, trumpet, tuba, and saxophone. Ben is also an ordained minister. In 2003, Ben along with his wife Amanda left teaching at a small college to travel the road full-time, singing and teaching the Bible to churches, Bible camps, and other Christian organizations. He continues to compose and record music, much of which is a cappella. Ben and his wife, Amanda, have 4 children, who travel with him and share in his ministry. Amanda Everson grew up much of her life as the oldest of 7 children on the mission field of central Mexico. She has been singing in churches since she was a young child. Amanda has a rich alto voice, and traveled on a singing group for her Bible college. She is from the southern United States, and speaks Spanish fluently. She has also begun to pen songs of her own in addition to her singing.
Dr. Dana F. Everson earned a Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Applied Music from Michigan State University, Master of Sacred Music from Pensacola Christian College, and Doctor of Ministry from Northland Baptist Bible College, with additional studies in music at the University of Michigan and the University of Disneyland (through the California Institute of the Arts). He has nearly 400 published music works and has taught music at the college level for over 30 years. He is the author of the book Sound Roots: Steps to Building a Biblical Philosophy of Music. Dana and his wife, Gloria, have 5 grown children and currently teach music at a Christian Academy in Midland, Michigan. Gloria specializes in voice, teaching concert choir and giving private vocal lessons.
Please join us as Ben, along with his wife Amanda, Dr. Dana & Gloria Everson (Ben’s parents), present an enjoyable evening concert to exalt the Lord in song.
There is no cost for those who attend, but there will be a free-will offering for the Eversons.
