AWANA is an acronym that stands for APPROVED WORKMEN ARE NOT ASHAMED based on 2 Timothy 2:15. It is a children’s outreach ministry founded in 1950 to seek to reach kids, equip leaders, and make a difference for Jesus Christ in the world. AWANA is presently involved in 120 countries ministering to 3.7 million children on a regular basis.

We meet from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. every Wednesday night with the exceptions of October 4 (Bible Conference), December 6 & 13 (children’s Christmas program practice) and April 4 (Spring break).

There are 3 groups available:

  1. Cubbies (ages 3-5) – meets in the age 3 & 4 Sunday School classroom
  2. Sparks (K-2) – meets in the age 5-K Sunday School classroom
  3. T & T (grade 3-6) – meets in the grade 1 & 2 SS classroom
