Dennis Rokser Pastor-teacher Dennis Rokser came to trust the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior at the age of 18 through the faithful witness of some friends. Upon later attending Beacon Bible Church in Aurora, Minnesota, he was spiritually fed and grounded in the Word of God through the expository, grace-oriented bible-teaching of Pastor Leonard A. Radtke. Dennis was further prepared for the ministry by attending Appalachian Bible College in Bradley, West Virginia, along with graduate studies from Tyndale Theological Seminary. Dennis shares the ministry with his wife, Nancy, and their children, Ian, David and Sarah. E-mail

Scott Johnson Elder / Pastoral Care Scott trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior over twenty years ago when he learned John 3:16 at the first Bible study he attended with the Duluth Bible Church. After graduating from the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies and ministering in various capacities at DBC, Scott became Pastor Rokser’s assistant in 1999. He assists with visitation, evangelism, prison ministries, Junior Church, song leading and administration. Scott and his wife Elizabeth have two sons and one daughter. Several of Scott’s favorite verses are Isaiah 41:13, 2 Corinthians 9:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:24 and Philippians 4:13. E-mail

Kurt Witzig Elder / Youth & College Ministry Kurt, a native of Duluth, trusted Christ as his Savior during his college years at the University of MN, Duluth. After graduating from UMD and getting married to his wife Sarah, he began working with the youth at Duluth Bible as a volunteer on the youth staff. Some years later he graduated from the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies and became full time staff at DBC as the Youth Director. Kurt and Sarah have three sons. E-mail |

Tom Stegall Publications Director Tom is originally from Minneapolis, MN. He was raised as a Roman Catholic and following high school attended seminary with a desire to become a priest. However, upon reading the Bible and through the testimony of a few saved friends, he came to trust in Christ alone for his salvation and was born again by God's grace in 1987. Shortly after he started attending DBC, where he became equipped through the accurate teaching of God's Word and the shepherding of his pastor, Dennis Rokser. He was further equipped by completing a five-year course of study through the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies; and he is also a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and the University of Minnesota in Duluth. At D.B.C. he met his wife Debbie, a native of Duluth, and they were married in 1997, and now have 3 children. |  |

Darrell Patterson Office Manager Darrell came to trust the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 23 while attending a home Bible study in Duluth. He later graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in 1988 and has been attending Duluth Bible Church ever since. He came on staff in January of 1997 to help with the administrative duties of Duluth Bible Church. Darrell is married to Valerie (Ahlgren) and they have 2 children. E-mail

Steve DesMarais Building Maintenance & Printer Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin Superior in 1983 and eventually moved to Duluth in 1986. In early 1986 Ruth Peterson witnessed to Steve and he was saved by faith alone in Christ alone. He and Ruth were married in December of 1986 and now have 4 children. They now live in the West Duluth area near Denfeld High School. Steve has been working at Duluth Bible Church since January of 2004. |
